Another complaint has been made against suspended senior sub-inspector Amit Prasad of Etmaduddaula police station in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. This time he has been accused of filing a chargesheet in connivance with a history-sheeter. An application has been submitted to the Additional Police Commissioner demanding action in the matter. The investigation on the complaint has been given to ACP Chhata.

Devu, a resident of Nagla Bal Chand, Nunihai, has said in his complaint that Deshraj has registered a case against him and nine members of his family in Etmaduddaula police station under sections of possession and assault. SSI Amit Prasad was investigating this case. The documents related to the investigation of the case were given to the investigator. Deshraj is a history sheeter.

During the investigation, Amit Prasad started saying that the case is fake. A final report will be filed in this. He alleged that money was demanded in return. He also said that Deshraj is giving it to him. On this, Devu gave him half of what he asked for. But, Amit Prasad filed a charge sheet in the case on 15 June.

A complaint was made to ACP Chhata in this matter in April. The investigation has not been completed yet. Even before that, a charge sheet was filed. Now Amit Prasad is not receiving calls. Amit Prasad has been suspended on charges of indiscipline and moral turpitude. DCP City Suraj Rai said that action will be taken after investigating the allegations.
